What vaccinations are required?
Pets without proper vaccinations will not be allowed on the property. Proof must be provided in the form of a computer printout/receipt from a licensed veterinarian that details the vaccinations given. Puppy/kitten books, stickers and hand written records are NOT sufficient. Vaccinations given by breeders and/or owners are NOT sufficient. When you arrive at the facility, leave your pet in your vehicle until Rush Lake Kennels' staff has verified your pet's vaccination records. All vaccinations must be current for a minimum of 14 days prior to your pet’s stay.

When is payment due for boarding?
Payment is due in full upon drop-off. There is a 50% non-refundable deposit for all boarding stays over major holidays.
When is payment due for training?
There is a $40 non-refundable deposit to register for all training courses. The balance of the class fee is due the first session of a class.
For resident obedience training, $525 is due when your dog is dropped off and the balance is due when your dog is picked up.
For our gun dog and trained retrieve programs, payment is due monthly. The bird bill is due when your dog is picked up.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Rush Lake Kennels accepts cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, & Discover. Credit card purchases of $1000 or more will be assessed a three percent administrative
fee to cover the additional fees charged by the credit card company for large transactions.
Does my pet need to be on a leash?
Dogs must be on a leash at all times while visiting Rush Lake Kennels. Cats must be in a carrier or held during check in.

Our hours are by appointment only.
Monday - Saturday: 9am - 11:30am & 4pm - 7pm
Sunday: 5pm - 7pm
Holidays: 9am - 11:30am
